Friends of the Jefferson Hills Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the Library through fund-raising and volunteer activities. The Friends group purchases non-budgeted materials for the Library.
Our three annual fundraising events are the Spring Books and Boutique Sale, our fall mailer and the cookie sale.
Anyone who is interested in helping our Library and our community become the best that they can be, can do so by becoming a "Friend". Call 412-655-7741 for more information or fill out the Friends Membership Form by clicking here, printing and completing the form and returning it to the Library.
Friends meet in the Municipality Center on the Third (3rd) Thursday at 7:00 of the following months:
The Friends are looking for individuals to move boxes from council chambers to the outside shed and other services. Call Alberta Maxa for more details at 412-653-7938 or the library at 412-655-7741.
The Library has valuable books for sale on an ongoing basis throughout the year. If you are interested in purchasing any of these books, please contact the Library at 412-655-7741.
